What can Astrology do for me?
For your natal reading, I use your birth information (date, exact time, place), to glean the lessons that you are to learn in this life and the challenges you are working on. This is followed by practical advice on how to navigate these personal challenges and what might help heal you on your evolutionary soul’s path. I can clarify where your talents lie and what you should be focusing on to reach your greatest potential. In your Forecast reading, you will receive information that will guide you to make better decisions moving forward in all key areas of your life. In the Compatibility reading, you can learn about potential areas of strength or conflict in any type of relationship by analyzing how two individuals’ birth charts interact with each other and what may be areas of interest or attention.
How does Religion relate to Astrology?
Astrology over the ages has been incorporated into diverse cultures past and present and integrated into their religious beliefs. Some of these are Vedic, Taoists, Aztecs, Sumerians, Jewish and Islamic beliefs, among others.
For those who follow Christian beliefs, there is nothing written in the Bible that specifically forbids the practice of astrology. However, there are statements denouncing the worship of the Sun and Moon as Gods and idols. These are two separate concepts.
The first page of the Bible, King James version, states: “And God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day and the night, and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.” —Genesis 1:14
Jesus never spoke against astrologers. In fact, he was born under a special star. The three Kings that came first to visit him were guided by this star. They were called the “Magi”, and they were astrologers! In the gospels, Jesus is claimed to have departed this plane exactly at the time of an eclipse, and, that he predicted his own return under heavenly signs. His followers used the sign of the fish, the symbol of the new Age of Pisces, to mark his coming.
As well, through the Renaissance, the Church accepted “Natural” uses of astrology. Fifteen Popes either were astrologers or studied sacred art. Many of our current astrological house systems were developed by Catholic monks. The Vatican, today, still houses many ancient astrological texts.
Today’s Christian protests against astrologers occur because astrology was ignorantly classified under the same umbrella as professions that are criticized in the Bible. This may have occurred because of the word “occult”, meaning “hidden” being attached to astrology as well as to the Biblically condemned professions.
To denounce astrology as “occult” is as silly as denouncing microsensors used in medical surgery as “occult”. We all seek to see more deeply into previously imperceptible energies to gain wider information.

Modern Psychological astrology provides insights into your unconscious patterns, emotional dynamics and personal growth potential through your birth chart, which is a symbolic map of your inner world. It helps you gain greater self-awareness, understanding of your strengths and weaknesses and aids in navigating life’s challenges while on the path to reaching your personal potentials. It’s about making choices that work for you.
I counsel you to become aware of and work through issues in your personal “natal” map and discuss upcoming themes as symbolized by your solar return and transiting planets. Each year holds unique trends. Is it a year of change and new beginnings or a year of waiting? Is the focus on career? Or relationships? What will you be called to work on in this year?
Traditional or Classical Astrology originated in the Middle Ages. It is more deterministic in view and does not offer the perspective of choice. It is ideal for providing answers to specific questions through the practice of Horary Astrology, such as “Will I get the job I interviewed for?” “Will this investment make money?” “Will I sell my house?” or “Will this person become my significant other?”.
Electional Astrology also falls under this category and is used to determine ideal dates for important undertakings, such as the incorporation or registration of a new company, a wedding or any other important event for which you seek planetary support.

How important is it to have an exact birth time?
It’s extremely important. The exact moment that you’re born creates an individual energetic imprint of the unique soul that you are. It’s worth the trouble to get it if you can. If you were born in the US, you can contact the vitals department of the state you were born in and request a new birth certificate, with the time. This may be the long-form birth certificate and costs about $30.
If you were born in Canada, send a request directly to the appropriate vital statistics office of the province in which you were born. The fee varies from province to province.
If you have exhausted governmental or legal resources, or even family connections, consider having a Rectification done.
