Frequently Asked Questions

What can Astrology do for me?

For your natal reading, I can use your birth information (date, exact time, place), to see the lessons that you are to learn in this life and the challenges you are working on. I can also give you practical advice on how to navigate these personal challenges and what might help to heal you. I can also tell you where your talents lie and what you should be focusing on to reach your greatest potential. For the other readings that include forecasting, you will receive information that will guide you to make better decisions moving forward.

How does Religion relate to Astrology?

Astrology over the ages has been incorporated into diverse cultures past and present and integrated into their religious beliefs. Some of these are Vedic, Taoists, Aztecs, Sumerians, Jewish and Islamic beliefs, among others.

For those who follow Christian beliefs, there is nothing written in the Bible that specifically forbids the practice of astrology. However, there are statements denouncing the worship of the Sun and Moon as Gods and idols. These are two separate concepts.

The first page of the Bible, King James version, states: “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day and the night, and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.” —Genesis 1:14

Jesus never spoke against astrologers. In fact, he was born under a special star. The three Kings that came first to visit him were guided by this star. They were called the “Magi” and they were astrologers! In the gospels, Jesus is claimed to have departed this plane exactly at the time of an eclipse, and, that he predicted his own return under heavenly signs. His followers used the sign of the fish, the symbol of the new Age of Pisces, to mark his coming.

As well, through the Renaissance, the Church accepted “Natural” uses of astrology. Fifteen Popes either were astrologers or studied sacred art. Many of our current astrological house systems were developed by Catholic monks. The Vatican, today, still houses many ancient astrological texts.

Today’s Christian protests against astrologers occurred because astrology was ignorantly classified under the same umbrella as professions that are criticized in the Bible. This may have occurred because of the word “occult”, meaning “hidden” being attached to astrology as well as to the Biblically condemned professions.

To denounce astrology as “occult” is as silly as denouncing microsensors used in medical surgery as “occult”. We all seek to see more deeply into previously imperceptible energies to gain wider information.

What type of Astrology do you do?

I work with both traditional and classical astrology and modern psychological astrology. This means that I can counsel you to work through issues in your personal ‘natal’ map and discuss upcoming themes as symbolized by the transiting planets in the sky to your horoscope. The best outcome is when you are able to access your own inner power and move forward with greater self-belief. When you order a Birthday Forecast, for example, I look for major trends. Is this a year of change? Is the spotlight on a career? Or relationships? What will you be called to work on this year?

With my traditional astrology approach, I can also assess horary charts that answer specific questions or find missing items.

How important is it to have an exact birth time?

It’s extremely important. The exact moment that you’re born creates an individual energetic imprint of the unique soul that you are. It’s worth the trouble to get it if you can. If you were born in the US, you can contact the vitals department of the state you were born in and request a new birth certificate, with the time. This may be the long-form birth certificate and costs about $30.

If you were born in Canada, send a request directly to the appropriate vital statistics office of the province in which you were born. The fee varies from province to province.

How do you do your consultations? Online? Phone?

There are three options; through telephone, through Skype, and I am currently researching a new online video platform called Signal.

Signal is a free service that you can download to your phone. It’s end-end encrypted which means that, unlike zoom, your reading is completely private and cannot be accessed or recorded by a third party.

Readings are then emailed to you through an electronic audio recording. In some cases, the natal report may be delivered in written report form (such as for example, a gift for new parents).

How are payments processed?

Payments are safe and secure and processed via PayPal if you are outside Canada. If you are inside Canada, please use Interac E-Transfer.

What are your payment policies?

All Consultations are pre-paid, allowing me to work on your questions in advance. Readings are non-refundable. Readings are also non-transferable.

What do I need to prepare?

It’s important to double-check your exact time of birth. Also read through the consultation services I offer and determine which one works best for you. If you choose the Focused Forecast or the One Question Report, be clear on your question and be ready to provide me with some background so I understand your circumstances and what you really need to know.

Do you ever see clients in person?

Not at this time, although that may change in the future.

Do you work with clients outside of Canada?

Absolutely. I love connecting with people from around the world although I would ask that you have a good command of the English language so that we easily understand each other.
